Quick FAQs

Luxembourg is not a large country, so you really only need a few days to visit the main sites – it’s a great weekend getaway!

One day is a great amount of time to explore Luxembourg City.  You can realistically explore the entire city in one day on foot – it’s quite compact, making it convenient for quick visits. If you wanted to experience more of Luxembourg, such as the countryside or its historic castles, I’d add on an extra day or two for some day trips!

🚌 You can also save money by staying outside of Luxembourg in a neighbouring country and taking a day trip. The most popular day trips are from Brussels
